the N and W walls

the primary focus of Friday's efforts was on the N and W walls. 

on the N wall the previous framing was replaced one section at a time with a new arrangement that doesn't extend out beyond the face of the original N wall.

this was then covered with random width TIG siding.  the new siding was primed on the back and sides before installation.  I'll be priming the exterior over the weekend.

at the base of the N wall the porch flooring needs to be extended to fill the gap created by the removal of the outer wall layers.  the surface upon which the new segment will rest was put in place. 

on the W wall the remainder of the horizontal siding was installed up to the height of the door and window apertures and the screen doors were hung.  it was necessary to extend them both vertically and horizontally in order to properly fit them into the door opening.
