when the performances were finished, the music didn't stop. Sita and Julia were working on a new arrangement:

it gave me the chance to try something that's not possible during a performance, which is to play with the reflections in the instrument's surface.
Becca (out of frame to R, that's her fingers pointing) says: "I always ask Marie to check out my violins".

later I found out it was to be used for drawing names for a prize.
oh, well.
Grove kids are no less rambunctious than any others. but there was no fidgeting; they were all quite attentive to each performance. I'm not sure our grownups would do any better.
